Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle announced two public health initiatives targeting gaps in care for low-income individuals living in Cook County. Part of the initiative allocates $1 million in grant funding for outpatient dental care. BTHS played an integral role ensuring that this funding passed in the county FY2012 budget and will remain involved to advise how the funding is invested.
